Job Purpose
The Logistics Manager will oversee and manage logistics operations, including transportation, inventory control, and warehouse management, to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
- Plan and forecast resource needs for transportation and storage.
- Transportation Management
- Coordinate the movement of goods, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Optimize routes and manage fleet performance.
- Warehouse Operations
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory accuracy.
- Supervise warehouse staff and maintain safety compliance.
- Budgeting and Cost Management
- Monitor and control logistics expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Generate periodic reports on logistics performance metrics.
Team Leadership
- Manage, train, and evaluate the logistics team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

About You
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certification in supply chain/logistics management is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with customs clearance and regulatory requirements.
