Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement and inventory data from various sources.
- Categorize and compile purchase requests.
- Prepare and send quotation requests for shortlisted suppliers.
- Undertake market assessment to ensure that the company is receiving the best price and quality.
- Collect proforma from short listed suppliers and submit price summary for approval.
- Participate in bid opening and evaluating bidders’ financial proposal.
- Prepare purchase order as per the specification on the bid document and follow-up timely delivery of goods and services.
- Identify shortages, defectives and missing parts of the purchased items.
- Prepare payment certificate and submit for review.
- Maintain records of purchases, materials and their substitutes, suppliers’ performances, etc. to help informed decision over the procurement cycle.
Qualification and Experience
- Master’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management or related fields of study with a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management or related fields of study with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience.
