Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
- Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
- Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
- Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
- Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
- Complete end of month close procedures
- Prepare journal entries, and complete general ledger operations
- Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, draw up monthly financial reports
- Prepare analysis of accounts as requested, and assist with year-end closings
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and payroll administrations
- assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Do others assigned by the operations and administrative manager.
Job Requirements
Education:
- BA degree in Accounting, Economics or related field of study.
Experience:
- More than 3 years of relevant experience.
