Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C is a Commercial Microfinance Institution established under proclamation No. 40/96 of National Bank of Ethiopia to provide microfinances services for low-income people both in rural and urban areas of Ethiopia. In doing so, it provides customer centric microfinances services with special emphasis to women and youth groups in the community who are historically excluded from the mainstream financial services.
