Job Summary

The Brand Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the marketing strategy for the assigned categories to meet business and brand objectives.

Some of the duties may include market research, pricing, product marketing, communications, consumer insights, and packaging development. The Brand Manager ensures the organization’s message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives. He/she is also responsible for the development and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns.

Key Functions

  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies to develop the category, and brand equity and achieve Key business targets.
  • Analyzing market trends and consumer insights to drive brand/category growth through innovation and new product development.
  • Competitive landscape tracking for business insights and formulation of marketing programs to compete effectively in line with business capability
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, procurement and production departments to ensure delivery of Sales and Margin targets.
  • Developing and managing the marketing department’s budget/ Responsible for ATL and BTL programs required to support the brands with key metrics to track return on investment
  • Executing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns with excellence.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual reports to senior management.

Education Qualifications and Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent certification in Business, Marketing, Retail or related fields

Experience

  • 5+ years of extensive marketing experience at Brand Manager/ Marketing Manager level.
