Job Purpose:

Ensure effective and efficient sourcing of Logistics/MRO materials & Services/Capex of the right quality, quantity, service at optimal cost required for

  • Short- and mid-term uninterrupted production, storage & delivery of our products
  • Sustaining the OpCo’s long-term growth ambition through strategic partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Procures Materials and Services required for the Supply Chain
  • Contribute to the creation of a Category Strategy for Supply Chain requirements
  • Explore and introduce innovative solutions to excel in business performance and capability
  • Ensure that Supply Chain supply requirements are fulfilled as per HEINEKEN standards
  • Assure execution of the purchasing procedure, ensuring transparency in all business deals
  • Ensure alignment with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Sourcing & Contracting
  • Set up and execute a sourcing plan to secure and develop supply at a competitive cost
  • Select suppliers compliant with HEINEKEN’s Supplier Code and assess the supplier risk profile
  • Ensure compliant execution of Source to Contract through procurement tooling (Zycus) in line with the HEINEKEN Standards & Local Policies to warrant transparency in all business deals
  • Drive savings through tenders, structured negotiations, and optimizing material specifications
  • Ensure creation of Legal contracts compliant with the HEINEKEN Standards
  • Ensure administration, archiving, and timely renewal of Legal contracts (Zycus)
  • Know local and import supply alternatives for the materials or services to be sourced
  • Collaborate with Proc Dev. & Ops to enable compliant ordering against agreements
  • Sell production residuals and company waste materials
  • Supplier Management & Performance Management
  • Anticipate and detect problems that may interrupt delivery and proactively advise solutions and supply alternatives
  • Records relevant supplier information in a Supplier database
  • Monitor supplier performance, evaluate risk, and obtain insight into financial health
  • Explores the supply market in developing new products or suppliers in cooperation with the relevant Business owner and Quality Department
  • Assures suppliers work according to HEINEKEN’s Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Reports the historical and expected financial performance of the relevant categories
  • Purchase to Pay
  • Raises Purchase Orders and monitors delivery timing
  • Cooperates with Finance to ensure payment of goods and services delivered
  • Creates insight into the required cash flow with the Finance Department

Scope

Sourcing in the Supply Chain area is related to Maintenance, Repairs, Production Services, Auxiliary Chemicals, Logistics, and other technical goods and services required for the operation of the breweries. Purchases are often managed as projects, involving the right stakeholders and strictly monitoring budget and delivery timing.

About You

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics.

Experience and skills required

  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience on the supply side (Purchasing) in an Industrial environment
  • Strong technical background
