Founded to address the shortage of locally processed fruit products and reduce post-harvest losses, the company has grown into a modern fruit processing facility. Theday Agroindustry produces natural fruit jams and premium dried fruits using locally sourced raw materials and high food safety standards, while promoting sustainability, ethical sourcing and strong partnerships with farmers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor jam production and dried fruit processing activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and hygiene standards throughout production
- Conduct routine quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products and finished goods
- Monitor critical parameters such as moisture content, acidity (pH), Brix , water activity and shelf-life indicators
- Maintain basic production and quality control records
- Support consistent compliance with existing food safety standards at Theday and ensure compliance with regulatory authority
- Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with production and management teams to improve product consistency and efficiency
- Work with operation, marketing and quality control to ensure product labelings, traceability and maintained quality
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in applied Chemistry or Industrial chemistry .
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food processing, preferably in jam, fruit processing or related FMCG production
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures
- Ability to conduct laboratory and in-process tests
- Good documentation and reporting skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fruit-based processing (jam, juice, dried fruits)
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP or local food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a production environment and supervise processes
- Basic computer skills (Excel, record sheets, reporting)
