About the Job
Chief Auto Mechanic
Location: Juba, South Sudan
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise repair, servicing, and maintenance of vehicles, construction equipment, and batching plant machinery
- Lead mechanical teams and allocate tasks based on expertise and urgency
- Diagnose engine, transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and report performance trends
- Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and workshop efficiency
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics to support technical needs
About You
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in construction environments
- Proven leadership in workshop settings and field service operations
- Familiarity with both mobile and fixed plant equipment systems
