The Clearing and Reconciliation Officer II outlined responsibilities include conducting daily end-of-day settlement processes for various channels, generating Net Settlement Instructions for timely transactions, and providing clearing, settlement, and reconciliation reports to participant financial institutions. Additionally, the role involves executing reconciliation operations using the EthioRecon tool, preparing reports on unsettled transactions, compiling data for reporting, maintaining documentation of processes and findings, and assisting senior team members in data analysis. The Clearing Officer II must also address inquiries from member institutions about clearing and settlement issues, monitor and notify delays in POS clearing file submissions, generate outgoing POS clearing files, and produce periodic and ad hoc reports for stakeholders while performing other assigned duties.
- BA in Accounting, Economics, Management or related fields of studies
- 2 years of relevant work experience
