About the Job

Being the main point of contact for local Finance teams in LE (latest estimation) and A&SP (annual & strategy planning) annual cycles the incumbent is responsible for the consolidation of HC (Headcount) (actuals and plan) data and managing labor costs by business unit. Support P&C Business Partners in Compensation & Benefit analytics; manage remuneration processes (Mercer TRS (Total Remuneration Survey), ASR (annual salary review) budget review and implementation, pay lines review). To lay down and execute management policies for the department. To hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, dismiss or assign employees reporting to C&B Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • Consolidate HC data for LE and A&SP cycles, submit to stakeholders, and explain deviations.
  • Manage labor budgeting for Market and Verticalized functions, including international assignees and local Leaf and Factory budgets.
  • Upload labor budgets and actuals in the platform.
  • Execute monthly payroll control and quarterly data quality checks; address issues promptly.
  • Explore market practices, benchmark with the industry, manage paylines review, and lead Mercer TRS data collection; prepare ASR budget as directed.
  • Prepare compensation scenarios for newcomers and salary adjustments.
  • Ensure timely communication, awareness, and release of total rewards statements.
  • Manage tasks and projects as requested and review/revise C&B-related policies.

 

About You

Education:

  • Preferred degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Finance, or related fields.

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 4 years in HR/Finance roles.
  • Languages: Fluency in both oral and written English and Amharic.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of core HR practices, especially Compensation & Benefits.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including market data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
