About the Job
The purpose of the contact Admin Engineer position is to assist the contact admin Division Head for prepare and certify schedule, prepare and process bid check and approve the payment and prepare the payment certificates, prepare price escalation, BOQ with the current unit price and contract admin(both contractors and customers) construction work to ensure that it is executed in strict conformity with the contract documents and drawings. He/she ensures measurement and certified payment certificates, variations and any works before reviewing the contract admin division head submitted by contractors and issue certificates for payment to contractors
- collects the necessary data from site and drawings works of take-off sheet and specification and bill of quantities in detail with consulting designer and site engineers
- checks the quality, as well as the quantity of submitted variation, payments and contracts are as per standards and requirements of the contractor
- collection and organization of required information to fill out the tender preparation and evaluation
- collection and organization material price and availability assessment equipment rental price and labor wage
- updating resource breakdown for each variation and contract item of the breakdown
- works in cooperation with the site engineer and design division regarding customers( addendums house handover and any relating works etc.) of house and facilities
- sub- contracting – to let out or part of work items in a contract to be done by other contractors or manufactures
- prepare the detail BOQ to get a good estimation to do price rate contract construction activities which can be done with a fixed piece rate and not required redundant variation.
- verify measurement and payment certificates submitted by contractors
- verify issues certificates for payment for contractors
- checks the construction work for completion and prepares certificates of completion( provisional acceptance) maintenance certificate ( final acceptance) and final account
About You
BSc Degree in civil Engineering, Construction management with the minimum of 7 years of working experience preferably in construction or real estate sector
