About the Job

Shining Stone International Business Plc is private business Company that is engaged in the Real Estate, Specialized Foundation, Road Marking Construction and Chemical Manufacturing. Our Company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position listed below.

Main Responsibility & Duties 

  • Maintaining job costing records classified by cost elements with respect to materials, labour and overhead.
  • Prepare detail variance analysis related to operations, material and company overhead usage with detail explanation and interpretation for managerial decision.
  • Determining standard overhead rate to be applied for subsequent year on the basis of prior year’s actual overhead costs.
  • check that the cost and management accounting  and reporting GAAP and IFRS  standards
  • Recommend and lead changes in cost accounting methods and procedures.
  • Prepare proper utilization of approved capital and operational budget.
  • Prepare timely reconciliation of stock items with store balance (bin card) and general accounts records.
  • Organize and supervise annual inventory.
  • Checking the cost accumulation sheet for local and foreign purchases and submits to the Procurement & supply department.
  •  Check that every L/C opened has exclusive file until it is closed
  • Conducting periodic performance evaluation of subordinates.
  • Prepare that coding of accounts is correct and as per company’s chart of accounts.

About You

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification: 

  •  MA/BA Degree in Accounting and Finance and Related Field of study

Work Experiences: –

  • 3/5 years and above, from these at least 2 years in positions.

Technical Competency 

  • Track record in managing business organization preferably in Construction industry
  • Excellent knowledge of strategic analysis and planning
  • IFRS, Peachtree Accounting and Tax Accountant
