We seek a highly skilled Director of Strategy and Transformation with a proven track record in leading organizational transformation and driving high performance across all business units and functions. The role requires a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on leadership to accelerate impact, strengthen operational efficiency, and ensure the organization remains agile and responsive in a rapidly evolving external environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the implementation of the company’s long-term strategy, aligned with industry trends, client needs, and internal capabilities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate strategic and transformational risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity and goal achievement.
- Oversee execution of the firm’s three-year strategic plan, ensuring adaptive and agile decision-making.
- Set and coordinate annual goals for the organization and its business units.
- Actively monitor the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends, translating insights into actionable strategic opportunities and risks.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and identify strategic improvements.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and partners to align strategic and operational priorities.
- Establish and manage robust governance frameworks for strategic initiatives and transformation projects, ensuring clear accountability, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
Organizational Transformation and Change
- Design and lead transformational initiatives that improve agility, organizational culture, and the use of digital tools and systems.
- Drive organization-wide change management, including digital transformation and operational redesign.
- Oversee the development and integration of advanced digital strategies and technologies to enhance business models, operational efficiency, and client engagement.
- Introduce and scale process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen) tailored to a consulting environment.
- Build a culture of innovation by promoting continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
Performance and Operational Excellence
- Establish and manage a robust performance management system with clear expectations, regular feedback, and recognition of excellence.
- Monitor organizational performance and adjust systems and strategies as needed.
- Drive operational effectiveness by identifying value-creating opportunities and optimizing internal processes.
- Use data analytics and performance dashboards to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Promote a high-performance, results-oriented culture across all teams.
People, Clients, and Knowledge Systems
- Implement systems to collect and respond to employee and client feedback for service improvement.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability.
- Support talent development programs to address skill gaps and build leadership capacity.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing strategy and transformation team.
- Master’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- 8 or more years of overall experience, including at least four years in a senior leadership position within the private sector or equivalent experience in a complex, results-oriented environment.
- Proven track record in driving organizational transformation and performance improvement.
- Exceptional business communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and effectively convey complex ideas.
- Familiarity with the research, consulting, and advisory industry is preferred.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to foster collaborative environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and performance metrics to drive strategic and operational decisions
- Knowledge of digital transformation and emerging technologies
