Role Summary
Habesha Steel Mills PLC is looking for Four (4) highly skilled Industrial Electricians to join our technical operations team. As we continue to scale our production capacity, these roles are critical for ensuring the continuous operation of our heavy-duty machinery and electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-level maintenance on industrial motors, transformers, and high-voltage switchgears.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical faults in melting furnaces and rolling mill control systems.
- Use specialized testing equipment to diagnose issues in industrial control panels.
- Install and calibrate electrical components for new machinery.
- Strictly adhere to industrial safety protocols to prevent workplace hazards.
About You
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: TVET Level III, IV, or Diploma in Electricity, Industrial Power, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: * Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Ability to read complex industrial wiring schematics.
- Personal Attributes: Willingness to work in a shift-based environment and ability to work effectively within a team of 5+ technicians.
