About the Job

Kuriftu Africa Village is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new African village resort near Ashew Meda. We are currently seeking passionate and talented individuals to join our team in the following positions:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare authentic Ethiopian dishes using traditional cooking methods and recipes.
  • Develop and enhance the traditional food menu to ensure a unique dining experience.
  • Source and manage high-quality ingredients for Ethiopian cuisine.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on traditional cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal or event-specific dishes.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a chef specializing in Ethiopian traditional cuisine.
  • Extensive knowledge of Ethiopian spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Certification in culinary arts is a plus.
