Duties and responsibilities.

• Management of the feedlot and related operation
• Management of all supervisors, teams and staff during all day to day operations
• Manage the receivables, processing and loadout of cattle site wide
• Manage the purchasing, receiving and monitoring of all grain and commodities for the feedlot
• Manage, monitor and ensure Livestock health and animal welfare
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and producers
• Review and develop standard operating procedures
• Management of all systems, industry programs and regulations
• Asset management, Report preparation and document control

No required :- 1

• Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Range Sciences or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Substantial experience in animal feed supply

Essential requirements for the position:

• Extensive proven experience in managing a sizable feedlot and an in-depth knowledge of feedlot and related operations
• Proven Leadership qualities
• Proven experience in livestock handling with a dedication to animal welfare
• Ability to demonstrate animal husbandry techniques
• Have an understanding of cattle nutritional requirements and knowledge in nutritional pathways and different feeding rations.
• An understanding of Environmental regulations within the feedlot
• Have advanced computer skills
