About the Job

Fleet Management

• Coordinate daily fleet operations for interdepartmental movements.

• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for vehicles, Motorbikes, forklifts, and handling equipment.

• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and driver logs for compliance and cost control.

• Ensure all fleet documentation (licenses, insurance, certificates, permits) is updated.

• Maintain a fleet database, including service history, breakdowns, and performance.

• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and transport contractors.

Stores & Inventory Management

• Manage plant stores including spare safety items, Production materials, and consumables.

• Ensure accurate posting of GRN, material issues, and stock adjustments in SAP.

• Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile variances.

• Maintain min/max/reorder levels for critical items.

• Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with quality standards.

• Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.

Compliance, Safety & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to plant safety protocols.

• Maintain documentation for internal audits and regulatory requirements.

• Support safety and quality audits.

• Prepare periodic reports for fleet utilization, stock valuation, and inventory aging.

Cross-Functional Support

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and Finance team.

• Provide timely materials and fleet support to avoid production delays.

• Assist in optimizing logistics workflows

About You

Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 2–3 years of experience in fleet or store management, preferably in manufacturing.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of procurement and logistics principles and practices

• Excellent knowledge Soufflet Ethiopia’s and HQ procurement and logistics policies and procedures manuals, guidelines

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English

• Ability to manage multiple priorities on short time frame and difficult condition

• Proven integrity and honesty

• Knowledge of SAP or any other systems.

• Understanding of maintenance planning and inventory control.

• Strong working knowledge of computers especially MS Word and Excel
