About the Job

Key Objectives

  • Develop and implement strategies for the widespread adoption of QR payments.
  • Enhance business partnerships and stakeholder engagement to support adoption goals.
  • Analyze market trends and user behavior to inform strategic decisions and optimize the product.

    Key Responsibilities

1.Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that addresses current adoption challenges.
  • Define objectives, milestones, and KPIs to measure the success of the strategy.
  • Identify, profile and target key customer segments, and geographies for rapid uptake.
  • Regularly analyze performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to adjust strategies.
  • Provide periodic progress reports to leadership on achievements, barriers, and recommendations.

2. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand the adoption of QR payments.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with merchants, financial institutions, and technology providers.
  • Establish a pipeline of potential collaborators and stakeholders to support long-term growth.
  • Develop value proposition for the different customer segments to guide targeted marketing.

3. Market Analysis and Positioning:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify adoption barriers and refine the product’s value proposition across the different stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations to address barriers as well as improve customer experience.
  • Ensure market feedback is integrated into product development and improvements.
  • Establish feedback loops with early adopters to gather insights and use cases.
  • Build a network of customer advocates and success stories to enhance the product’s credibility.

4. Marketing and Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote QR payments.
  • Create sales enablement materials (e.g., pitch decks, FAQs) to support internal teams.
  • Train and mentor sales teams to effectively address customer challenges and highlight the product’s value.
  • Leverage digital marketing techniques for increased consumer adoption.

5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Engage with stakeholders to align on goals and secure support for QR payment initiatives.
  • Drive internal alignment across marketing, sales, product, and customer support teams to ensure successful execution of the strategy.
  • Collaborate with participant’s product and business teams to amplify marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops with all participants to ensure consistent and clear product knowledge.

Deliverables

  • A detailed go-to-market strategy, including customer segmentation, recommendations, and marketing plans.
  • Revenue, adoption, and retention targets achieved within the specified timeframe.
  • Comprehensive market analysis and actionable recommendations for scaling adoption.

About You

Educational Qualifications and Skills

  • BA/MA/MBA in Marketing Managment, Economics or related fields of studies

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management, marketing, sales, or go-to-market strategy roles.
  • Demonstrated success in driving adoption and scaling digital products in challenging markets.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving with a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in marketing, business development, and product lifecycles.

Technical Expertise:

  • Familiarity with financial technologies, payment systems, and target market dynamics.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and successful execution.
