About the Job
The Shift Mechanical Technician is responsible for execution and supervision of all mechanical maintenance tasks of Brewing & Cellar plants. work together cooperatively with other maintenance team of the company during corrective/breakdown maintenance; Able to maintain, modify, recondition and replace parts of brewing machineries; develop sketches and drawings for modification and installations
Result areas responsibilities
- Able to maintain, modify, recondition and replace parts of brewing machineries.
- Develop sketches and drawings for modification and installations.
- Execute preventive and planned maintenance tasks as per schedule to increase availability& reliability and reduce unplanned downtime of Brewing and Cellar machines.
- Take proactive actions before machine fails to ensure availability of machineries.
- Carrie out quality maintenance in professional approach and avoids mistakes in maintenance to ensure smooth operation of production.
- Monitors conditions of Brewing and Cellar machines continually and performs required adjustments.
- Supports other Shift Brewing Mechanics in their maintenance duties.
- Examine performance of Brewing and Cellar process equipment to detect and locate malfunctions and inefficiencies
- Maintain precise record of maintenance information such as maintenance carried out, spare parts/materials used and work duration taken
About You
- TVET Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the beverage or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
