About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue across rooms, F&B outlets, banquets, spa, and other services.
• Lead the sales team in identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and building long-term client relationships.
• Drive revenue growth through proactive sales calls, corporate partnerships, travel trade engagement, and key account management.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to optimize room rates, occupancy, and yield management strategies.

Marketing & Brand Management

• Plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns (online and offline) to increase hotel visibility and attract target markets.
• Ensure consistent brand positioning across all guest touchpoints, communication channels, and promotional materials.
• Manage advertising, digital marketing, public relations, and media activities to strengthen the hotel’s market presence.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

Business Development & Partnerships

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, event organizers, and online booking platforms.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and industry associations.

Events & Banqueting Sales

• Oversee the sales and marketing of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events).
• Work with the Banquet & Events team to generate revenue through weddings, conferences, and special events.
• Ensure customized solutions for clients to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Financial Planning & Reporting

• Prepare annual sales & marketing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and sales targets.
• Ensure efficient use of marketing resources and control departmental expenses.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, motivate, and mentor the Sales & Marketing team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
• Provide training and guidance in negotiation, customer service, and sales techniques.
• Foster a results-driven culture with clear objectives and accountability.

About You

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in hotel sales & marketing, with at least 5years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, and online travel agency (OTA) strategies.
• Strong analytical, financial planning, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in sales & marketing software, CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi).

Skills and Attributes

• Proven track record in driving hotel revenue growth, corporate sales, and market share expansion.
• Solid understanding of hospitality revenue management, distribution channels, and market segmentation.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and preferably one or more additional languages.
• Leadership ability with experience in managing and developing highperforming sales teams.
• Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced hospitality environment
