POSITION SUMMARY    
The IT Specialist will be crucial in managing and supporting the IT infrastructure. This position involves overseeing Office 365 tenant, Microsoft Server for Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, as well as managing cloud-hosted websites and ensuring the smooth operation of shared resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems administration, troubleshooting, and vendor management., s/he will play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring the smooth and optimal operation of First Consult’s technology systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage and maintain Office 365 tenant, including user management and security settings.
  • Administer Windows Server for Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Oversee cloud-hosted website performance and security.
  • Configure and administer Wi-Fi routers and access points.
  • Assist with virtual meetings and conferences, including configuring video conferencing tools
  • Support IT onboarding of new Staff.
  • Assist with IT onboarding for new employees, ensuring smooth setup of systems and access.
  • Create and manage new staff’s door access permissions, including fingerprint registration.
  • Regularly monitor and maintain NVR and CCTV systems to ensure functionality.
  • Implement and oversee backup and recovery procedures for critical IT systems.
  • Provide help desk support to all staff for desktops, applications, printers, and network issues.
  • Support onsite and remotely for branch offices.
  • Manage computer maintenance and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Configure email client software, including Outlook.
  • Ensure smooth IT operations by collaborating with internal teams.
  • Provide support and administration for ERP systems, including system administration and user training.
  • Prepare user-friendly guides and documentation for various IT operations.
  • Administer and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues as they arise.
  • Support data center operations, including server management and inventory tracking.
  • Assist in planning and implementing data center upgrades.
  • Prepare specifications for IT equipment and software.
  • Assist in vendor evaluations and procurement processes.
  • Manage inventories, including hardware and software licenses and warranties.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

About You

Education:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience for a master’s degree or 5 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree.

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of security system principles and network protocols.
  • Expert in Microsoft Windows Servers, active directory, Microsoft 365, and Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Implementation and support.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Openness to new technologies and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize urgent tasks and to concurrently work on multiple tasks.
