: Junior Procurement & Inventory Officer

Department: Procurement / Operations
Reports to: Procurement Manager / Operations Manager
Work Station: Head Office / Factory Site

Job Purpose

To support procurement and inventory activities by ensuring timely purchasing, accurate stock records, and proper coordination with internal departments and suppliers.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assist in processing procurement requests based on approved plans
  2. Follow up on supplier quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries
  3. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement data
  4. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory
  5. Support inventory planning and periodic stock counts
  6. Ensure procurement documents are complete and properly filed
  7. Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and requesting departments
  8. Support cost control and basic procurement compliance activities
  9. Prepare regular procurement and inventory reports
About You

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.2 and above.
  • Graduates from Addis Ababa University are preferred
  • Relevant internship or entry-level experience is an advantage.
