About the Job

  1. Plans, organizes, administers, directs and controls the division’s operations.
  2. Organizes, manages & controls the store using up to date standards
  3. Arranges the periodic physical count of inventory; initiates the reconciliation of actual inventory & inventory balance on the records.
  4. Verifies & approves the appropriateness materials issue & receipt vouchers.
  5. Manage and maintain the company’s inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
  6. Provides routine management information on inventory performance.
  7. Monitors and evaluates spare parts & consumables usage & costs.
  8. Assumes responsibility for managing and running planned stock levels.
  9. Exerts efforts & controls to avoid obsolescence, damage, spoilage or capital tied up; identifies & reports slow moving materials to supplier manager.
  10. Ensures that materials in store have insurance policies.
  11. Ensures proper arrangement & storage of materials.
  12. Develops economic usage of store & presents to responsible body; implements after approval.
  13. Manage and follow up the materials returned to store are availed to concerned technical and quality officers in order to distinguish the materials returned to store in to those which are usable & worthless; initiates the discarding of worthless items & the repair of usable materials.   14. Makes storage of items no longer needed by the company in the separate place & properly; produces reports on mechanism of selling these items.
  15. Generates periodic reports about its division & presents to the Director, Corporate Property Management & Logistics Directorate.
  16. Evaluates the performances of the staff the division in accordance with the company’s policy.
  17. Performs other duties as assigned or required by the Corporate Property Management & Logistics Director.

About You

BA Degree in Supply & logistics management and other related fields
