About the Job
- Identify, define, and assesses the properties and specifications necessary for the database management system (DBMS) to meet current and future needs of the organization.
- Define a logical database structure for application development based on the organizational structure of the company.
- Define and execute procedures for testing and implementing new applications in the database environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to data security and integrity.
- Develop, implement, and monitor access policies, limiting database access on a need-related basis.
- Develop, maintain, and control additional corporate data libraries specific to the organization, industry, or locality.
- Ensure project and department milestones and goals are met on time and within budget.
- Assesses current and projected database performance and recommends changes and enhancements.
- Draft training documentation and guidelines for analysts and end users.
- Resolve data conflicts for matters such as naming conventions, data privacy, and data ownership.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in DBMS and related technology.
- Performs others task that might be given by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
About You
Required Qualification:
- MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information system, Information technology, MIS & or other related fields of studies.
Required Experience:
- 9 years of experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Principal System & Datacenter Administration Officer or related position
