Role Overview
Pitron Tech Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for web and mobile applications. This role requires someone who can work independently on complex features, collaborate closely with frontend and DevOps teams, and contribute to system architecture and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to integrate backend services efficiently.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements to system design.
- Implement secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Maintain documentation, code standards, and unit tests for backend systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with guidance from senior engineers.
About You
Technical Requirements
- 3–5 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language Preferably NestJs
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Version control experience (Git) and collaborative workflow understanding.
- Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and code quality tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven systems or message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Exposure to serverless architectures or GraphQL.
