Infinity Advanced Technology Solutions P.L.C. (IATS) is a leading medical equipment distributor, Information Technology and technical service provider in Ethiopia. Currently the company needs to hire a qualified personnel for the following vacancy:
Position: Odoo Functional Consultant
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gain a deep understanding of a client’s core business functions and objectives, analyze their current processes, and identify areas where Odoo can optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze and document client needs, translating them into functional specifications.
- Configure and customize Odoo ERP modules to meet client-specific requirements.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolutions for functional defects.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior functional developers.
- Stay updated on latest Odoo releases, trends, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and methodologies
- Develop customized Odoo solutions for different industries.
- Provide training to the client’s employees on Odoo’s best practices as well as customized Odoo module training to ensure they can use the software effectively.
- Provide ongoing support to the client, including bug identification, user mistake identification, and troubleshooting.
- Follow up with developers and thoroughly test the modules and functions developed to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Any other tasks as assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Odoo Functional Consulting (a plus, but not mandatory).
Experience
- Proven experience from 3 years + as an Odoo Functional Consultant or similar role
Knowledge and Skills required
- Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP modules, particularly in areas such as Sales, Inventory, Finance, and HR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP modules.
- Excellent analytical skills.
