Job Overview:
The Operational Manager oversees the smooth day-to-day operations of a commercial center, with a special emphasis on monitoring company-owned enterprises and organizing events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Operations Management:
- Manage daily operations of company-owned businesses.
- Develop strategies to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and assess business performance.
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and legal standards.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Event Planning and Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events within the commercial center
- Communicate and cooperate with external vendors, contractors, and partners for event execution.
- Create marketing plans for events.
- Oversee event budgets, timelines, and logistics.
- Evaluate the success of events using metrics
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide training, support, and development opportunities for staff
- Promote a good and stimulating work environment.
4. Customer Experience & Service Quality:
- Ensure good customer service standards.
- Improve client satisfaction by obtaining feedback and responding to complaints promptly.
- Implement strategies to improve the customer experience.
5. Financial & Budget Management:
- Work with finance teams to develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets
- Drive revenue growth through optimization of pricing strategies, promotions, and cost control measures.
- Analyze financial reports and use data to recommend operational improvements and business strategies.
6. Stakeholder Relations & Reporting:
- Assist with operational concerns for company-owned enterprises and events.
- Regularly report on operational performance, event outcomes, and financial results to top management.
- Strengthen connections with important stakeholders, including renters, suppliers, and local authorities.
About You
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management
- Proven expertise in event planning and execution.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in financial analysis, budget management, and company operations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced setting and manage several projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with local regulations for commercial and event spaces.
- Strong marketing and promotional skills to enhance event visibility and attendance.
