Job Summary

Makes sure that production equipment functions properly; that production inputs supply is sufficient; conveys the inputs to the places where they are needed; undertakes production with the set of standard.

Duties and responsibilities

• Appears at work place early, consults with the replacement staff and accepts the responsibility to run in the succeeding shift.
• Clean machines and working area
• Ensure (Check) that the availability of sufficient inputs for the production
• Makes sure that production equipment (mixer) is functioning properly
• Makes sure that the products daily produced are in accordance with the production capacity of the equipment.
• Produce the products based on the current production and quality control procedures, work instruction and SOP.
• Inspect the produced product and take corrective measures if there is any non-conformity of product
• Takes corrective measures regularly to prevent any thing that may pose obstacle to the production process; reports to the immediate supervisor if there is any serious problem.
• Control or monitor wastage of inputs (raw materials); energy and time in the production process
• Assist in the installation , maintenance and repair of machinery
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
• Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order
• Sometimes cover the duties of general labor ,especially during absenteeism

Undertakes additional activities when instructed by immediate supervisor

BA Degree In Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering or Related Fields.
