A Personnel Archivist’s job is to manage and preserve an organization’s personnel records and HR documents with a high level of confidentiality and accountability. They are responsible for maintaining, updating, and converting records, both paper and electronic, ensuring their security and integrity. Typical duties include evaluating, selecting, retrieving, and arranging materials, maintaining archival databases.
- Managing Employee Records:
This includes maintaining employee files, updating information, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulation.
- Handling HR Documentation:
Preparing employment contacts, orientation packages, employee handbooks, and other HR- related document.
- Managing Archives:
Organizing storing, and retrieving both physical and digital records, ensuring proper documentation and access.
- Archive Management Systems:
Managing and maintaining archive management systems, including databases and information systems.
- Ensuring Compliance:
Ensuring that all employee records and archives comply with relevant polices, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Supporting Other Departments:
May also support other departments, such as finance, by providing documentation and assistance with archiving.
Qualification and skill
- BA Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management , Personnel Mane rent, Business Administration & related Field.
Experience Requirements
- Degree 3 years and Diploma 5 years with relevant work experience in HR or records in management.
