About the PR Assistant

We are seeking a proactive Public Relations (PR) Assistant to support our communications team in strengthening the school’s image and engagement with the community. The PR Assistant will help coordinate media relations, events, and internal/external communications. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will assist in implementing PR campaigns, managing media inquiries, and preparing content that enhances our school’s reputation.

PR Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and communication strategies.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials.
  • Support in maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and community stakeholders.
  • Manage the school’s social media accounts by preparing engaging content and monitoring interactions.
  • Help organize and coordinate school events, press conferences, and community engagement activities.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR outcomes.
  • Maintain and update the school’s communication databases and contact lists.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and PR materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Assist in handling any public inquiries and redirect them appropriately.

Salary: Monthly (Negotiable)

About You
  • 2+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of PR principles, social media management, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Good practical experience with MS Office and familiarity with design/editing software (Canva, Photoshop, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related area.
