Key Responsibility

  • Ensure the effective deployment of the Group’s Quality Policy.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain the certifications.
  • Lead audits and certifications on Quality Systems.
  • Lead the technical and quality review meetings with customers.
  • Run the customer complaints process.
  • Manage the laboratory and lead the team.
  • Support for key account managers on customer relation management and offer technical support for production issues.
  • Implement and monitor the KPIs to measure the quality performance (malt and barley) of the company and the customers and undertake a root cause analysis in case of failure to carry out any corrective action plan.
  • Carry out all paperwork and administrative tasks in connection with quality management.
  • Support the barley execution team on supplier management and offer technical support.
  • Accountable for the implementation of Food & Feed Safety Management programs (including PRP and HACCP) in line with ISO 22000:2018 requirements.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a Food Safety culture.
  • Responsible for reporting and accountable for follow-up of near misses through Product Safety alerts including RCFA and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Accountable for setting up and maintaining systems to improve plant hygiene, environmental programs, and GMP.
  • Reduce repeat customer complaints by analyzing trends, drive root cause analysis investigations, and maintain records for the customer incident management process.
  • Own customer audits including preparation and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and own internal and external audits and ensure close out of actions arising from these audits ensuring certifications are maintained in the region.
  • Ensure accurate business records in appropriate systems are kept.
  • Manage the certification documentation and make it available for inquiries.
  • Lead and coordinate the HACCP Team.
  • Work with colleagues to reduce the environmental impact of the activities on site.
  • Comply with company SHE policy and applicable regulations.
  • Support to have efficient energy consumption in malting operations.
  • Prepare the function’s annual budget and monitor its utilization.
  • Other duties as required.

About You

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Food Science, or related fields.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in the malting or brewing industry in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
