Job Summary: –

Support the planning & Preparation of all BTL projects mechanics and inputs with detailed execution plan for each of them working with brand team and Identify tactical opportunities to grow sales in regions working with Regional Sales Managers & Area Sales Managers do recommendations via Sales Activity Proposal (SAP)

Top Accountabilities

  • Participate in the development of commercial plan
  • Implementation of one plan and adhoc BTL activities
  • Management of cross functional project teams for effective execution of BLT activities
  • Manage BTL agencies to develop implementation plans of all activities (required resources, roles and responsibilities, timelines and event flows).
  • Recruitment /management /briefing during ground execution with agencies.
  • Ensure field teams and company staff engagement to programs through clear and inspiring briefings with support of capability when applicable
  • On time transfer of execution tools to field team/promoters
  • Execute all projects on or under agreed budget on time and complaint
  • Gather market data/intelligence on competitor activity with clear recommendation and impact on existing plans working to help on strategy building
  • Drive brand passion among field teams, promoters and partners staff in collaboration with Marketing
  • Collate, Evaluate and Communicate weekly update on activities performance with insights and recommendation.
  • Ensure proper documentations, filing and reconciliation of activities as deemed necessary

About You

  • BA Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience preferably in the FMCG environment.
  • Experience in the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • local language is required 

Key competency & Behavioral Skill

  • Demonstrate a successful track record in terms of market share capture, market penetration, brand building, customer service and satisfaction, and volume growth.
  • Ideally able to demonstrate successes in leading, building and developing a team
  • IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data; (Advanced word and excel skills)
  • Fluent in Amharic and a strong command of written and spoken English
