We are a furniture manufacturing company located in Addis Ababa and are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

  • We are looking for an experienced sales manager who can successfully operate and run our high-end furniture store
  • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to oversee all the operations of our furniture business.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic planner with excellent organizational abilities, leadership skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • A positive and can-do attitude is also necessary as well as being a team player.
  • The sales manager will be directly communicating with and serving as an executive support to the general manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Working closely with and acting as executive assistant to general manager
  • Keeping up to date with the latest furniture trends and competitors’ strategies
  • Report on current trends, customer needs, and come up with competitive and profitable ways to win in market.
  • Inventory management skills to keep track of stock, order new products as needed and manage the arrangement of the showroom.
  • Ensuring the store is clean, safe and presentable at all times.
  • Basic financials know how to manage budgets, pricing, and store expenses.
  • Working with HR overseeing the recruitment, training and performance evaluations of sales staff.
  • Handling deliveries, returns, exchanges, and other services ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Additional Information

  • Work Environment: Physical retail store. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to the General Manager.
  • Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and aligned with industry standards.
  • Location: Century Mall, Gurd Shola, S-002 (Basement Floor)
  • Employment Type: Full-time

About You

Education and Training Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or business management or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Sufficient years of experience and any relevant certifications may be considered in the absence of a degree.
  • Proven successful experience as a sales manager with a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in furniture related business.
  • A good knowledge of furniture products, market trends, and visual merchandising.
  • Some knowledge of interior design
