Omed Travel Agency – part of the Omed Group, a leading IATA-certified travel and tourism company is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Officer to join our Addis Ababa branch at Tropical Mall.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about marketing and skilled at driving sales in the travel and tourism industry.

About You

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our travel and tourism services
  • Bring in new clients and generate sales through targeted marketing initiatives
  • Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Assist in preparing promotional materials and coordinating marketing events
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, tourism boards, and partners
  • Track marketing performance and prepare regular reports.
About You

Qualifications & Skills

  • BA Degree in Marketing or Sales & Marketing
  • No experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopia’s local tourism market and trends
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Amharic
  • Skilled in social media marketing, digital advertising, and email campaigns
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong sales orientation with the ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Collection, delivery, and distribution of mail, packages, and documents.
  • Processing cases like revenue office and others
  • Ensuring items are properly addressed and sealed before collection.
  • Processing outgoing mail
  • Recording deliveries and ensuring recipients sign for items.
  • Operating Photo copying, faxing, and shredding machines.
  • Performing general office tasks like filing and scanning documents.
  • Assisting with meeting and travel arrangements.
