We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Midwife to lead our maternal health team. This role requires a blend of clinical excellence, mentorship of junior staff, and a commitment to the patient safety standards (SafeCare/ISO) currently being integrated across our clinical workflows.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- Advanced Clinical Care – Manage high-risk labor, deliveries, and postnatal care with minimal supervision.
- Process Adherence – Strictly follow the hospital’s clinical workflows and safety protocols (ISO/SafeCare) to minimize medical errors.
- Technical Assistance – Provide hands-on support to the Junior Midwifery staff during difficult clinical procedures without formal administrative oversight.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain precise medical records and contribute data to the hospital’s quality and engagement analytics.
- Equipment Stewardship – Ensure all clinical tools and maternity ward infrastructure are ready for immediate use.
About You
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education – BSc in Midwifery.
- Experience – 4 + years of continuous clinical practice in a high-volume hospital environment.
- Skills – Expert proficiency in BEmONC/CEmONC and neonatal resuscitation.
- Attributes – High attention to detail, technical precision, and a commitment to clinical excellence.
