About the Job

Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Prepare payment and purchase requests to finance after meeting with the Project Manager.
  • Forecast future needs and allocate budget for resources (goods, works & services).
  • Evaluate proformas and choose companies for goods, works, and services.
  • Outline expenditures for the upcoming month.
  • Prepare spending reports and revise expenditures after analysis for future use

Required Skills:-

  •  In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices, specifically in construction.
  • Proficient in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and logistics related to construction materials and services.
  • Ability to conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
  • Proficient in budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering techniques to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards in construction procurement.
  • Skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Experience in managing procurement activities within the framework of project management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate supplier performance and procurement strategies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contracts, orders, and compliance documents.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a procurement team and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools, as well as general IT skills to streamline processes.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and commitment to environmentally responsible sourcing.

About You

Qualification:- BSC. Civil Engineering. , Construction Technology and Management(COTM).

Experience:- 10 years in supply chain, procurement, and logistics or 7 years in Construction and engineering Procurement.
