About the Job
- The role of the Senior Risk Management Officer is to assist the Manager, RM to manage the function as a second line of defense by establishing and communicate risk management principles, objectives risk management policies, risk appetite/ tolerance level; implementing appropriate risk reporting; working with management & board in developing risk mitigation measures; facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments.
- The Senior risk Management officer works with business units to establish, maintain & continuously improve risk management capabilities; regularly performs risk monitoring activities, and Supports risk owners to undertake an annual review of identified risks and controls & performing all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- The position will involve working with individuals across all levels (from senior executives to junior team members) in the organization, and thus, strong stakeholder management and relationship building will be critical. In specific instances, the Senior Risk Officer will also work with external consultants.
About You
- BSC/BA/MA/MBA/MSc in Accounting, Economics, Management, Information Systems or related fields of studies
- 5/3 years of relevant work experience out of which 2 years in officer position
