About the Job

The Senior Sales Data and Administration Officer at East African National Distribution S.C. (EAND), a subsidiary of East African Holding S.C., will manage sales operations, ensure accurate data entry and analysis, maintain customer and product portfolio records, and enhance sales process efficiency. This role requires advanced Excel skills, system tool expertise, and a strong background in sales management and administration. The officer will be a proactive leader, supporting junior team members and contributing to EAND’s sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Data Entry and Accuracy

  • Oversee the accurate entry of sales data into the system, maintaining data integrity.
  • Ensure all records align with company standards and are updated promptly.

2. Advanced Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Use advanced Excel skills to analyze sales performance trends, generate reports, and identify actionable insights.
  • Develop dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key sales metrics.

3. Customer Information Management

  • Maintain detailed records of customer profiles, outstanding balances, and transaction history.
  • Ensure all customer information is secure and complies with company policies.

4. Product Portfolio Oversight

  • Monitor and manage product portfolios to meet market demands and business goals.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize product offerings and availability.

5. Sales Documentation and Compliance

  • Manage sales documentation, including contracts, agreements, and policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Handle advance payments, credit transactions, refunds, and after-sales services efficiently.

6. Performance Monitoring and Improvement

  • Track and analyze sales metrics to measure team performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies based on performance data.

7. Leadership and Training

  • Train and mentor junior sales team members, fostering professional growth and skill development.
  • Act as a problem solver and escalation point for team challenges.

8. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Work closely with finance, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Align sales processes with the company’s strategic objectives and overall operations.

About You

A. Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

B. Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in sales data management and administration
  • Proven track record in sales data management and administration.
  • Experience in product portfolio management and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics 365, Odoo, Oracle, or similar tools).

C. Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
