Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to assist in managing the daily warehouse operations at our mining site. The Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring safety compliance, and supervising a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and a strong understanding of warehouse operations in an industrial or mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of materials.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflows and adherence to safety and company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical inventories, and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials, including mine equipment and spare parts.
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of materials to various departments within the mining operation.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, incoming shipments, and dispatches.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, material usage, and any issues encountered.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of warehouse management systems and processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
Location: Benshangul Gumuz, Asosa Zone, Kurmuk Woreda Project Site – Fly In/Fly out roster (6/2weeks)
Salary: Negotiable & Attractive.

About You
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
- Knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and tools.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for communication and report generation.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
