About the Job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
- Plan and coordinate drilling operations, including mobilization, drilling, and demobilization.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor drilling progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including daily reports, material usage, and equipment performance.
- Supervise the installation of piles to ensure they meet design requirements and specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections of drilling operations, including pile integrity tests and load tests.
- Analyze drilling data and prepare technical reports.
- Investigate and resolve any technical challenges encountered during drilling operations.
- Coordinate with the drilling crew, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the drilling rig and all associated equipment.
- Manage site logistics, including material procurement, equipment maintenance, and waste disposal.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment on site.
- Communicate project progress and any potential issues to the Project Manager and client.
- Address client concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.
About You
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields of study
- minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience.
