The site engineer oversees that all constriction practices are in line with company policy, to manage our constriction /site, you will be contributing to the planning and design of the project , allocating resources to each of the project’s stages and . Prepares report to job status .
The details of the job descriptions of the Site Engineer are as follows:-
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
- Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors – this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects
- Plan the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Prepare each and every detailed reports as required
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
- Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Oversee the selection and requisition of materials
- Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
- Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.
- Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.
- Agree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
- Assessing the worth and potential risks of projects
- Developing blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD)
- Liaising with architects, subcontractors, consultants, co-workers and clients if any.
- Ensuring projects meeting legal requirements and health and safety standards
- Resolving design and development problems
- Managing budgets and other project resources
- Preparing project bids and reports
- Assessing a project’s environmental impact and potential risk
- Working on-site in all weathers or in an office.
- Executing any other tasks assigned by an immediate supervisor or senior managers.
About You
Requirements
- MSc/BSc in , management (COTM) or related field
- 5 years’ related work experience,
- expert knowledge of building product, constriction details and relevant rule and regulations and quality standard
- strong coaching, teamwork, flexibility, and delegating task,
- strong analytical and problem-solving skill
