Job Purpose
The Stakeholder Management Director is responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communication strategy that aligns with East African Holding’s strategic goals. The role focuses on building and sustaining strong, long-term relationships with key internal and external stakeholders—including government bodies, financial institutions, communities, and media outlets—to safeguard the company’s interests, enhance its public image, and ensure consistent, high-quality communication in line with EAH’s brand and corporate objectives
Job description
- Oversee the development of stakeholder communication strategies, and develop/manage ongoing relationships with critical stakeholders in order to maintain the required benefit of the company.
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, including Banks, Government Office at all level, the community and others as required.
- Lead the development and delivery of all published and printed materials and ensuring all such activities support delivery of EAH strategic objectives and maintain and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Lead and ensure all communications materials are produced consistency to a high quality and adhere to EAH ‘s brand guidelines as specified by the EAH Board of Directors.
- Ensure a robust media response and engagement processes are in place so as to constantly maintain the organization interest.
- Lead, develop and facilitate positive and meaningful, regular engagement with all stakeholders to drive improvements in the quality and consistency of communication and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Lead the development and delivery of a holistic Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Strategy that fully supports achievement of the organization strategic objectives and priorities.
- Establish key performance indicators and measures to monitor progress and delivery for all media, communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
Required Qualification:
The Ideal candidate shall have at least Master’s degree in business management, media relation or other related field with relevant progressive experience for more than 10 years in high-level industry experience in stakeholder management and handling of media platforms, maintain strong business relation with various stakeholders in private or public enterprise. Additional international certification is a plus.

- Proven experience in maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders that includes government, banks and other.
- Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans that align with organizational goals
- Analyzing complex organization issues and developing effective solutions.
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skill.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies.
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience of effective strategic thinking, detailed planning and the ability to deliver to clear long-term objectives
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong multi-tasking and strategic thinking ability.
