Position Overview:

We are looking for an IT System Support Specialist with programming expertise, including JavaScript, CSS, React, SQL, and C#. In this role, you will support and maintain IT systems while also assisting in development tasks, such as troubleshooting, system automation, and assisting in the improvement of existing applications. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a blend of system support and software development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for internal systems, resolving issues related to hardware, software, networks, and databases.

– Web & Application Development: Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of internal web applications using JavaScript, React, CSS, and C#.

– Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries for data management and system support tasks. Manage internal databases and help improve database performance.

– Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain scripts to automate routine IT tasks, backups, or deployments. Use C and other languages as needed for automation.

– System Maintenance: Monitor, update, and optimize internal systems and applications to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.

– User Training & Documentation: Provide training to internal users and create technical documentation for system processes, application features, and troubleshooting guidelines.

– Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration between support systems and applications. Help diagnose and resolve issues in existing codebases.

 

About You

Qualifications:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

– Experience:

– At least 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support and system administration.

– Strong experience in JavaScript, React, CSS, SQL, and C.

– Familiarity with web development best practices, including responsive design, UI/UX principles, and version control (e.g., Git).

– Experience troubleshooting and supporting web applications, databases, and network systems.

– Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, or SQL Server) and writing complex queries.

– Experience with C# for backend services and automating IT tasks.

 

Preferred Skills:

– Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating them into applications.

– Experience with Agile development and version control systems like Git.
