JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  If you are Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining utility equipment, appliances, and apparatus then this role is just for you!

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE 

Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs on Forklifts, and reach trucks.

Installing and performing diagnostic tests on process systems such as pumps, and compressors.

Experience understanding of Boiler operation and maintenance.

General understanding of HVAC, Chiller, D-dust, Hot water generator operation and maintenance.

Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.

Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.

Maintaining water supply lines (plumbing skills, woodwork skills)

Operation and maintenance of water treatment plants (DM, RO Plants)>

 

About You

  • National B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or National Diploma / TVET in Industrial Mechanics
  • Processing & Packing Equipment experience is preferred)

Skills

  • Core Engineering Skills and manufacturing experience in Mechanical and utility disciplines with 2 years of working experience in manufacturing setup.
  • Experience of working as part of an extended team within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Required to support report writing, data analysis, and problem-solving.
