Haile Resort – Jimma is the upcoming four-star resort opening soon and the 10th destination of Haile Hotels & Resorts Group located in Jimma. Jimma (Oromo: Jimmaa) is the largest city in southwestern Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It is a special zone of the Oromia Region and is surrounded by Jimma Zone. It has a latitude and longitude of 7°40′N 36°50′E. The distances from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Jimma, Ethiopia is:221 miles / 356 km by driving. We are hiring just for a pre-opening team & the below vacancies are among them.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers in a warm and engaging manner
- Provide detailed menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverage offerings
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely fashion
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining room as needed
- Perform light side work such as rolling silverware, refilling condiments, etc.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
About You
Job Requirement
- Level three and above certification in hotel management/Tourism/Marketing /Management and related fields
- 1-2 years of prior waitstaff or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
