Purpose of the Job:
The main goal of this position is to enhance the profitability of the service line by fostering positive relationships with employees, overseeing the quality and timely completion of assignments. Additionally, the role involves providing guidance and support to associates, managing overall IT-related support, and ensuring the delivery of IT services align with established standards.
Manage the IT infrastructure:
- Ensure the proper functioning of the generic server by maintaining active directory services and ensuring DHCP service availability to manage network margins. Additionally, oversee the creation, deletion, renaming, and modification of AD users, as well as manage server files and storage devices to always maintain adequate space.
- Maintain the local area network by connecting all nodes to the LAN, adding new nodes, or relocating existing ones. Integrate new users into the active directory and facilitate resource sharing across the network.
- Manage and regulate the Wi-Fi network by overseeing the SSID name and firm Wi-Fi policies. Maintain a high level of security and administer passcodes to ensure the firm’s safety.
- Administer all content within the web domain, including creating, deleting, renaming, and modifying mailbox accounts. Configure accounts for users’ computer mail client applications and enforce domain policies to accommodate user requests such as auto responders, group policies, and forwards.
- Oversee the firm’s security measures by ensuring the effectiveness of LAN and Wi-Fi security systems, monitoring antivirus licenses, managing company hardware and software devices, and backing up all company resources and files.
- Manage new joiner’s laptop configurations and remove departing staff from user accounts in AD and the domain.
- Maintain control over user management by creating, deleting, renaming, and purging users from the AD domain and GTINET.
- Manage the organization’s IT assets, encompassing both software and hardware management.
IT operations and efficiency:
- Formulate IT strategies, policies, and guidelines to align with organizational objectives.
- Develop cloud and workflow solutions:
- Gather workflow requirements to automate manual processes.
- Manage Azure AD user accounts.
- Handle O365 license management and enable multifactor security.
- Oversee central email communication management.
- Develop and manage O365 workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Training:
- Create an annual training plan for applications.
- Conduct training sessions in collaboration with associates.
- Support:
- Maintain and replace damaged or outdated computers.
- Supervise computer maintenance within the firm.
- Provide guidance and support to associates.
- Evaluate associate performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
Cybersecurity:
- Ensure compliance with Grant Thornton International firms’ requirements:
- Confirm firewall device activation and licensing.
- Monitor active vulnerability scanning systems.
- Supervise encryption of all company devices.
- Manage company content in accordance with GTI policy.
- Adhere to the firm’s annual GTI cybersecurity minimum requirements.
- Conduct phishing campaigns.
- Manage firewall operations.
- Implement content filtering via the firewall and defender antivirus.
- Develop an annual cybersecurity training plan for employees and clients.
- Handle vulnerability and risk management operations.
IT Service:
- Fulfil additional duties as delegated by the immediate supervisor.
- Assist service lines with their IT-related tasks, particularly on deliverables.
- Compile and present proposals for IT service inquiries.
- Create methodologies for IT service inquiries.
- Provide support for IT services to be delivered to Clients in ERP, Cybersecurity, Advisory, and other areas.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience for bachelor’s degree holders.
- Minimum of 1 year of IT project experience.
