Istar Investment Group PLC are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage daily bookkeeping, payroll, taxes (VAT & WHT), and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Daily Financial Operations, Record daily transactions and manage general ledger.
- Tax Compliance, Calculate & file VAT, WHT, and other statutory taxes
- Payroll Management, Prepare payroll, issue pay slips, and calculate employee taxes.
- Bank & Account Reconciliation, Reconcile bank and supplier accounts.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis, Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements.
- Internal Control & Risk Management
- Audit Preparation, System Management, Maintain accounting records for audits and compliance.
- And other related taxes.
Salary

About You
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws (VAT & WHT)
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills (QuickBooks / Sage / ERP)
- Honest, detail-oriented, and reliable
