Calzedonia Group, is an Italian company founded in Italy Verona, producing, and selling garment products (lingerie, easy wear, sock and more) recently operating across the world such as Europe, South America, Asia, and Middle East. The group set up in 2015 a production plant in Tigray Mekelle, Ashegoda Area, under the name of “ITACA TEXTILE PLC” and requires competent employees for the following vacant position.

Job Summary
Air Conditioning Technician is responsible in conducting maintenance check and repairs for air conditioning and other cooling or heating system.
Job description:
The work typically involves:
- Air conditioning technician install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioners.
- Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
- Perform regular maintenance work on cooling and heating units.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
- Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
- Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
- Install package air-conditioning systems and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain refrigerators bottle cooler and ice machines,
- Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
- Make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
- Repair Domestic and Light Commercial Refrigerators and Freezers.
- knowledge about DAIKIN heat pumps.
- • Good knowledge in reading the Electrical Drawings
- Perform refrigerant recovery.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Education: BSC Degree in mechanical or Electrical Engineering/ College Advanced diploma in mechanical or Electrical Engineering or College diploma in mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Work experience: above 4/6/8 years of relevant operational experience in international companies preferably related industry experience.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Working well under pressure
- Relevant technical knowledge
