BACKGROUND
The children’s Heart Fund of Ethiopia (CHFE) established in 1989 GC is a non-governmental, nonprofit making humanitarian organization committed to help children with heart disease. Since the establishment the founders with key donors were able to establish a new hospital located in BLH, equipped with basic equipment’s and supplies. The center currently has 15 sub specialized doctors, 69 high level trained nurses and allied health professionals. CHFE would like to appoint vacant potion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations
- Stocks supplies and medications in operation room, manage the stock of supplies and medications
- Maintains adequate supply of medical oxygen, air
- Prepare and check anesthesia equipment prior to use
- Maintains anesthesia equipment’s, ensures proper use, cleans and disinfects anesthesia equipment’s after use
- Assist in the preparation of patient for surgery,
- Assist with the administration of anesthesia according to the instructions of the anesthesiologist
- Assists in sterile procedures, and other procedures
- Maintenance of anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and sterilization
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia activities and patient records
