Job Description

is a key role to support Financial Controller in all aspect of finance function, who will take charge of day-to-day finance/accounting operations and is a key link with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the business.  Assistant Financial Controller is for a high potential finance professional with several years of experience in accounting/finance, who has a good understanding of all aspects of the business cycles, able to resolve conflict and is a problem solver. Excellent communication skills. ERP experience.

  • Assist the Finance Controller in preparing monthly financial statements on time, analysis of financial statements for management review (drivers of top line, production costing, costs & profitability).
  • Ensure budget control vs actual spend.
  • Ensure timely month-end activities are performed and TBs are ready for finalization.
  • Supervise accounting team (A/P, A/R, general accounting) to ensure timely and correct posting of entries; G/L controlling, in line with accounting policy and IFRS.
  • Reconciliation of vendors, customers and banks.
  • Reconciliation and control of Inventory accounts.
  • Assist FC in dealing with Auditors, ERCA, Banks, and business partners as required.
  • Support, coach and develop other staff.
  • Other tasks and projects as required by the business

Job Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BSC in Accounting, Finance and related fields
  • knowledge of accounts receivable
  • knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
  • knowledge of general accounting principals
  • proficient in relevant accounting software, NAV and related
  • knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • 5 years plus accounts receivable and general accounting experience
